Welcome to Woodlawn Memorial Park. Our offices are located
just
inside the cemetery gates. The offices were attached
to the historic
cemetery lodge which was built in 1884 as a home for the cemetery
keeper and as the original office for the cemetery.
Our staff is available to assist you Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We have a memorial designer on staff to help you choose the right monument or marker. We also provide monument and marker sales and service, inscription services, monument cleaning, repair and restoration, garden and flower services.

pleased to explain the various interment choices open to you. We offer
full size and cremation interment options. The Woodlawn Park
Chapel is
locted at the heart of the cemetery and our Cremation Gardens offers
interment options in an area designed especially for the interment of
cremated remains.

families who require our services.
Our cemetery and crematorium are maintained to exacting standards. How do we do this? Combined, the outside full time staff of four have more than 60 years of cemetery experience. Each has his own area of specialization.
We perform more than 900 cremations every year. How do we do this? Our crematorium officer has more than 20 years cemetery experience. He has been our officer since the crematorium was established in 1984. We have two cremators. One cremation is performed in each cremator at a time. Detailed records are kept and each cremation is performed with the dignity and care our families deserve. We provide your funeral home with fast, efficient service to help facilitate your plans at a difficult time.
Every year we perform almost 400 interments. How do we do this? The large equipment of today helps facilitate the opening and closing of graves. Graves are "dressed" with artificial grass to cover the dirt, a lowering device to hold the casket and safety planks to allow close, intimate access for family and friends who attend graveside. We offer an open sided tent and chairs for summer interments. In winter, we clear wide paths through the snow to graveside for your comfort and convenience. Under ideal circumstances, it takes approximately 3 hours to open a grave.
Throughout the year we sell interment rights, monuments and markers. We complete inscriptions, organize interments and host several public events each year. How do we do this? Our Manager and office staff have more than 40 years experience in sales, service and family assistance. We care about the kind of service we provide. We want to be all that you need us to be when you require cemetery services.
From our Commission members to office staff, the groundskeepers and our cremation officer, it is the staff of Woodlawn who have made the name Woodlawn synonymous with the service and quality people have come to expect from Guelph's historic cemetery.
